English with Sonja!

Sonja is an excellent, beautiful and kind English teacher, working for International Foreign Language School in Korea University. This is 3rd times I have her in the class.

A note to her class (11/22)

What is learning English? Learning English is more than grammar, more than vocabulary, more than asking and answering questions. It's more than reading a text and writing sentences. Learning English is opening your mind, changing your way of thinking, and trusting yourself to thrive in a completely new context. I belive that everyone in this class possesses a deep understanding of what it means to be a true learner, a seeker of self-knowledge. Without any doubt, this class has been the highlight of my teaching experience in Korea. I have been continuously impressed with the dedication, spirit, and good humor that you all have brought to your study of English. I commend you on your bravery, willingness to learn, and curiosity about language and culture. With your strength and courage, I have no doubt that each and every one of you will continue to succeed in your language learning endeavors. I with you the best of luck in all aspects of your lives; most importantly, I wish you happiness.
