Really?  I didn't know that.  How can I find out whether a book is late or not.

검색용 PC에서 학생 ID와 패스워드를 넣으면 어떤 책을 대출했는지, 반납일이 언제인지 알 수 있어요.

 

You can check on the in-house computer system. Enter your ID number and password and you can see which books you have borrowed and when they are due.

그렇습니다. 3일 연체되었으니까 3일 동안 대출할 수 없겠어요.

 

That's right. These books are three days late and that means you can't borrow any additional materials for three days.

 

 

 

몰라서 그랬는데, 레포트 작성 때문에 꼭 봐야 할 책이 있는데 사정 좀 봐 주세요.

 

I didn't know that. I have a report that is due really soon, couldn't you make an exception one time and let me borrow a couple of books?

That's why you shouldn't return books late.  Don't you have a friend who could borrow them for you?
